Anti-snoring dental split Narval CC

Narval CC is clinically proven medical device, intended to treat obstructive sleep apnea and is custom made to meet your individual needs. It is meant to be used while sleeping. Device comprises of an upper splint that is intended to engage with teeth on the upper jaw and a lower splint that is intended to engage with or fit over teeth on the lower jaw, splints are connected with connecting rods. Process for getting Narval:

  • First you need to make an appointment with either otorhinolaryngologist (ear, nose and throat doctor) pulmonologist or a sleep specialist, who will then examine you.
  • You will need to do a sleep study, if the sleep study shows you could benefit from dental split you will be forwarded to a further consultation.
  • During Narval consultation you will be explained usage possibilities depending on the condition of your teeth and temporomandibular joints. Before the Narval is put into process, your teeth and gums need to be healthy. If there is no contraindications then impression of your teeth will be taken. Usually the dental split is made in two weeks.
  • If you have used your device for 3 months it is recommended to have another sleep study to evaluate the effectiveness of the treatment.
